Before you hire a limousine company for your wedding you
should pay them a visit and view their cars. You want to make sure they have
well maintained, clean cars and professional drivers. If you plan to use a
Rolls Royce, Excalibur, or other specialty limo, make an appointment with
the company at a time when you can see the specific car you are interested
in.
Ask the manager or owner how many cars are in their fleet. Some limo
services only have a few cars and contract out cars from other agencies. If
the company you are interested in does this, ask them if you can see the
cars that they contract.
Ask about backup vehicles in case of a problem.
Make a map and directions of the route you want to take and keep a copy with
you on the wedding day.
Ask what you are allowed to bring into the limo (food, alcohol, etc.)
Ask if they have designated smoking and non-smoking limousines
Ask them how much deposit they require and if they accept credit cards.
Ask if they have an overtime rate and how much it is.
Ask if you can request a specific driver and then ask to meet the drivers.
Find out if you can get your deposit back in case you cancel for some
reason. Most companies won’t, so make sure you are certain about the company
you choose before you make a deposit. |
