| When a bride and groom start planning their
wedding there is so much to consider. Most people want an atmosphere that
will lend to the elegance and formality their event requires yet still feels
comfortable. West Seneca is the home of just such a facility. Kloc’s can
supply an open air and indoor atmosphere. Situated on a gorgeous piece of
land complete with a winding creek and beautiful natural settings. Kloc’s
Grove was established in 1955 by Stanley and Dorothy Kloc and from its
humble beginning as a picnic grove, the Kloc’s have always strived to
continually enhance its picturesque setting. The food has always been top
notch. Mrs. Kloc’s favorite recipes still delight everyone. The two indoor
rooms at Kloc’s are decorated with a garden theme including floral
arrangements and several patio doors and windows to let nature in. The
Main Hall
holds up to 350 guests. It features a large
fireplace and a very large dance floor. This elegant room provides
access to the lovely outdoor courtyard. The
Outdoor Courtyard is a wonderful
spot for cocktails, outdoor dining, and dancing under the moon and stars. It
features a view of the babbling brook and beautiful natural plantings.
There’s a
courtyard bar, patio umbrellas and a tent to relax and take in all
of nature’s beauty. Many wedding vows have been exchanged under the
pergola (outdoor trellis) which overlooks a
large pond with a 15-ft fountain.
The
Garden Room seats approximately 100 people. It is surrounded by
french doors that open to another outdoor patio with umbrella tables, park
benches and tropical Hibiscus plants. A fireplace warms the room beautifully
during the colder months and makes it quite cozy.
The
Garden Pavilion accommodates 250 people and is surrounded by
gardens, has two waterfalls,
a gazebo, walkways and a trellis. It is lit by chandeliers and is
fitted with retractable draperies in case of inclement weather. Patio
heaters allow for late spring and early fall receptions in the garden
pavilion to keep the wedding guests comfortable. The
Wedding Pavilion is favored by many that wish to exchange their vows
submerged in nature’s beauty.
Joseph Kloc, the son of Stan and Dorothy, has gone to great lengths to
update the facility. He sees to the daily operations and insures that all
the needs of the guests are met to their satisfaction. This is the place
where you can create a Fairytale wedding of your very own. Joe takes great
pride in his management staff and employees, “I expect our people to respect
all of our guests and treat them like family, to be there for their every
request and to do it with enthusiasm and a smile.” Many couples have sent
him Thank You cards and some even from their honeymoon location, which he
proudly displays in his office.
