General Photography Info Selecting a Photographer WNY Photographers

Great Western New York Photo Locations

With the rapid advances in digital technology, a modern day wedding photographer may operate a great deal differently than he might have just 5 years ago. Digital technology has enabled photographers to use web site or email distribution, CD-ROM display and archiving, computerized album design, online ordering, and digital retouching. Digital photography is even being offered by some photographers as an additional capability. Eventually digital imaging may take over from film origination, but more technical advancements are needed for digital to match the quality and versatility of film.

Oddly, even with all of these electronic innovations, there has been a resurgence of interest in black & white, hand-coloring with photo oils, and antique photo processes.

No matter where technology goes, there will always be a demand for a wedding photographer who can flatter a wedding couple, conduct business with integrity, and capture an event with sensitivity, alertness, and professionalism.

Because your wedding day is one of the most important days of your lives and you can't do it over, it is imperative that the photographic recording of it turns out just as you want it, therefore we urge you to check out your potential photographer with the Better Business Bureau before any contracts are signed or any money exchanges hands.
